 Promoter and Event Coordinator
Society of Young Jewish Professionals is seeking a Superstar promoter to manage and promote the nation's largest Jewish Singles Event, "The Matzo Ball" held annually on Christmas Eve
This is a part-time, freelance position. Must have knowledge of night club venues, love to socialize and willing to work out of your home as a freelance event coordinator.
Job Description: book venues, oversee and plan media buys, recruit street teams and promoters, promote events, secure staff for the event, insure sponsors are being handled properly, capture mailing and email list, take pictures of people having fun, recruit/negotiate/coordinate sponsors, work with publicist to publicize events (radio, television, print, internet, wireless), advertising (e-mail, flyers, posters, radio, text message) , send money to corporate

Marketing Manager – Intern position
MatzoBall.org is a project of the Society of Young Jewish Professionals. Now in its 19th year, the Society of Young Jewish Professionals (SYJP) is the nation's largest and most successful membership organization for Jewish professionals, ages 21-49. Throughout the years, SYJP has opened a whole new dimension in meeting singles, and uniting the Jewish community. Originating from one holiday party, the Matzo Ball, SYJP has since grown into monthly events, a dating service and organized trips for Jewish singles.
Job Description: responsibilities will range from marketing to public relations and event planning. You will be an integral part of the team, and the work will be rewarding. Your creativity will be highly visible in the final product. This is a unique opportunity for a hard working and creative individual. The company is located in Back Bay close to Copley Square and Back Bay T stops.
